The following are qualifying for our Points System.
You will be awarded points for every post in the following sections of our forum.
Each Dinky Point will be redeemable as 0.01 UK pence when ordering using our online shopping system.
General discussion
Dinky Discussion will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Alcoholic Beverages
Cocktails & Mixed Drinks will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Your Favorites will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Real Ale / Real Ales will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Alcopops & RTD's will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Chef's Corner
Match wine with food will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Favorite recipe will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Collectors Here
Miniatures will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Image Gallery & Photo's
Photo Album will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
Poets Corner
Bertie's Poems will earn you 0.1 point for every post.
You will be able to redeem these Dinky points against any of our products or services.
Points will not be redeemable for cash and have no monetary value.
Points are transferable only to other Dinky Drinks members.
This points system is monitored solely by the directors of Dinky Drinks and there decisions in all matters will be final. If you have a problem please discuss it with us as we are very mindful of your concerns and issues.
The points for each section will increase in value over the coming months, this will be to encourage posting. The minimum value of 0.01 point will remain in all qualifying sections. |

There is also our Affiliate program which will earn you points for every person you refer to dinky drinks that makes a purchase and thats not limited by time... so every time they buy from us we pay you a comission.

So each post is worth 0.001p = ?1 for every 1000 posts.
Seems ok except a few bugs such as the one user who has 1.06000000000001 points and the odd freeze after 4 posts where you're stuck with 1.03 points (...and was the first whole point free or another bug?)

The Points are gven as a way of encouraging quality posts. If you look at some other forums there are people posting many 1000's of posts which is the reason we set this structure. We will be rewarding high posters with bonus points and also be running regular competitions for points.
We will also be introducing bonus points for members purchasing items online from our shopping section to be redeemed against thier next order.
I have requested a full service of the points system to get all the issues resolved, please be patient as our points system is relativly new and we are still ironing out some teething problems.
As a matter of course i would like to reassure you that our points system is 100% legit and has been concieved to reward people supporting Dinky Drinks. We will make sure you are all happy and recieve all points you have earned. |
